Ice Storm!

I haven’t seen snow and ice since 2011 so February on the east coast has been pretty cool for me. Granted I’m not in Boston or New York where things are real cray right now, but being in North Carolina is nice because we get just enough snow and ice where it’s still exciting and I can appreciate it without it constantly being an inconvenience.
Last week we had an ice storm. This week we had a snow storm. I’ll post about that later!

Things pretty much shut down here when there’s weather like this. It’s hilarious how many days of school were canceled or delayed last week. Thankfully I only had to take one day off from work.

The Best Impulse Buy Ever!

My iPhone Life || New York City 2014

I know I have already shared a lot of New York posts with you guys but I promise this is the last one from this trip! These are the photos I took on my iPhone.
In case you missed the other posts, here’s the run down. My sister’s best friend Risa is from New York and she and my brother-in-law surprised her with a trip for her Christmas gift. Luckily Jon and I got to tag along and I don’t think I could have had a better time my first time in NYC! The drive was ridiculously long, but my sister is a beast and she drove the entire way. Coco hated her life, though. I don’t think the dog was made for road trips.

I didn’t take a lot of photos on my iPhone on day two, but it was lovely and the weather was really good.

Day four was definitely my favorite day. We hit up all the tourist spots. The place that I really wanted to go to was the World Trade Center. We also saw the Statue of Liberty and Rockefeller Center. Check out my original post to see my other photos and stories!

The drive home was just as long, and probably a little more sad because our fun adventure was over. What’s the last adventure you went on?
